Plastering

With over 20 years of experience in the Plastering Industry.

As a Company who strives to keep a high standard of plastering and to ensure a competitive rate when tendering projects, Stilts are crucial to our everyday life.

Stilts are vital for ceilings and high-level walls as a continuous trowel sweep, in full contact with the full length of ceiling is required, as trowel scuffs and marks are frowned upon.

Over, under, and above arm movements / scuffs are also unacceptable, which are often related to overreaching and plastering high level areas from podium steps and hop ups (also up/down strain on legs and knees all day long).

Internal Plastering Works (Traditional Bond & Set, Skimming & Fibrous Cornice works)

External Rendering

Traditionally, render was made up of a simple sand and cement mix which was applied to poor quality substrates such as brick and blockwork to assist with waterproofing and to offer a more decorative external finish to homes and commercial properties.

Modern day improvements and Advancements in technology mean that traditional renders have come a long way since then. With the addition of specialist additives to the base materials, such as polymers, silicones, acrylics, aggregate reinforcements and anti-crack fibres, renders are a perfect, cost effective solution for a variety of external wall applications and can be applied either directly to the substrate, or alternatively applied as the final finish on an external wall insulation system.

The flexibility of today’s renders allows the architect to be more ambitious with their designs and enables them to confidently specify a wide range of colours and specialist detailed features, such as ashlar jointing, brick effect and alternative textures.

DRY LINING PIC.JPG
Drylining

In the last 20 years Drylining has become a popular way of finishing walls.

This is a quicker method than traditional plastering, not leaving walls of wet plaster, which take a long time to dry, thus the term Drylining evolved.

Drylining Installation Methods;

  • Internal Metal Stud Partitions & Fire Rated Systems

  • Dot & Dabbing Walls

  • Internal Wall Insulation Systems

  • Tape & Jointing Finishing

  • Suspended Metal Frame Ceilings (Commercial, Residential and Acoustic Installations)

With over 20 years of experience in screeding and acoustic flooring solutions, we have an extensive knowledge of screeding applications to meet routine and unique project and client requirements. We have strong relationships with Screed manufacturers and suppliers, in order to achieve the following applications;

  • Traditional Sand and Cement Screeds

  • Free flowing Screeds – Cement based & Anhydrite

  • Reinforced Fibre and Hardening Additive performance Screeds

  • Accelerated quick drying Screeds for fast covering applications

  • Self-levelling compounds & Latex applications
